Often called the king of red grapes, Cabernet Sauvignon has traveled far beyond its origins in France’s Bordeaux—it’s now widely planted in almost every wine-producing country.

Bold in both color and aroma, begins with dark fruit aromas of cassis, blackberry and black cherry laced with Madagascar vanilla. Ample tannins on the palate are joined by nuances of blueberry preserves and herbaceous notes of wild rosemary and finish with spicy clove, white peppercorn and anise.

The classic pairing with Cabernet is lamb, but it goes well with almost any meat—beef, pork, duck, venison, even rabbit.
